Your Right to Data Deletion

Under applicable data protection laws, including GDPR and CCPA, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data. This page explains how to request data deletion from Nestly.

What Data We Delete

When you request data deletion, we will permanently remove the following information:

  • Your account information (name, email, phone number)
  • Social media account connections and tokens
  • Generated content and posts
  • Analytics and usage data
  • Payment information (processed securely through Stripe)
  • Support tickets and communications
  • Any other personal information associated with your account

How to Request Data Deletion

Option 1: Self-Service Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data directly from your account settings:

  1. Log in to your Nestly account at app.nestlyhq.com
  2. Go to Settings → Account Settings
  3. Scroll down to "Delete Account"
  4. Click "Delete My Account"
  5. Confirm the deletion by typing "DELETE"
  6. Your account and all data will be permanently removed within 24 hours

Option 2: Contact Support

If you cannot access your account or prefer to contact us directly:

Include: Your account email address

Response Time: Within 48 hours

Verification Process

To protect your privacy and security, we may need to verify your identity before processing your deletion request. This may include:

  • Confirming your email address
  • Verifying account ownership through security questions
  • Requesting additional identification if necessary

Timeline for Deletion

Deletion Timeline

  • Immediate: Account access is disabled
  • Within 24 hours: Personal data is removed from active systems
  • Within 30 days: Data is removed from backups and archives
  • Within 90 days: All traces of your data are permanently deleted

Data We May Retain

In certain circumstances, we may be required to retain some data for legal or regulatory purposes:

  • Financial records (for tax and accounting purposes)
  • Data required for legal compliance
  • Anonymized analytics data (with all personal identifiers removed)
  • Data necessary for fraud prevention

Third-Party Data

If you have connected social media accounts to Nestly, you may also need to:

  • Revoke Nestly's access to your social media accounts
  • Delete any content posted by Nestly on your behalf
  • Review and update your privacy settings on those platforms

Confirmation of Deletion

Once your data has been deleted, we will send you a confirmation email. If you do not receive this confirmation within 48 hours, please contact us immediately.
